A proud native of Pittsford, NY, William brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to client advocacy to the firm. William earned his undergraduate degrees with distinction, completing an Associate in Arts at Monroe Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude at Nazareth College. He then went on to attend Syracuse University College of Law, where he was awarded a presidential scholarship and served as a Pro Bono Scholar, allowing him to take the bar exam before graduation. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2020, joining the practice of law shortly thereafter.
Before joining Tom Anelli & Associates, William spent years working at the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office, where he represented nearly a thousand clients charged with misdemeanor offenses. He then focused on civil legal services, working on tenant eviction defense and criminal reentry services. William returned to criminal defense with the Monroe County Conflict Defender Office, practicing there for 15 months before bringing his expertise to Tom Anelli & Associates.
Outside of work, William enjoys traveling, exploring nature, and spending quality time with his pets.
